Mortgage Magic

Filed under: Podcast — judson @ 11:30 am
One of the most intimidating processes you need to go through as an investor is asking for money.  Depending on how you fund your deals many people will still need to acquire a mortgage.  There are a lot of questions though.  How do you know what you can afford for your non-residence?  How does your credit and other investments affect your interest rate.  How many loans can I get for investment properties?  We were lucky to have a seasoned pro, Deanna Valeo of American Home Mortgage, answer these questions and more.  If you have further mortgage questions or are looking for a mortgage you can contact Deanna at Deanna.Valeo@americanhm.com , or visit her website at http://www.deannavaleo.com/ .

As a bonus our website of the week is a great site where you can find out the material cost of your rehab projects from the comfort of your home using a website offered by Home Depot.  Visit the links page at http://www.getrealrei.com/ for the link.  We also review a great book, Buy it Fix it Sell it Profit, that will layout the basics of investing in fixer upper properties.

We have been getting great show ideas this week, thanks to everyone who is writing in, please keep them coming and hopefully we can find can get an expert to speak with us and answer your questions soon.  You can reach us at getrealshow@getrealrei.com , or visit http://www.getrealrei.com/ for more information on real estate investing.

  2. I agree Allen. We have a lender scheduled this week to speak about hard money loans and will set up another session in the coming weeks to talk more about other types of funding through lenders.
